EPIC Program Manager
ABOUT DMCI AND THE EPIC INITIATIVE
Denver Metro Community Impact (DMCI) is a Northeast Denver–based nonprofit serving as the backbone agency for the Elevating Prevention in Colorado (EPIC) initiative, funded by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). EPIC is a five-year (FY27–FY31) collective-impact effort to prevent youth substance use and violence by strengthening shared protective factors and addressing the systemic root causes — including housing instability, economic exclusion, and disinvestment — that drive these outcomes in Park Hill and surrounding communities.
DMCI applies the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF), the Communities That Care (CTC) model, and the CDC Policy Change Process to support a youth-centered coalition, evidence-based programs, and policy and systems change in our geographic area of focus.
