Our Condolences

Gerie Grimes joined Denver Metro Community Impact (formerly known as Park Hill Collective Impact) as a founding board and executive committee member in 2015, bringing her passion for educational equity and serving the youth of northeast Denver.

As with the many organizations Ms. Grimes led or oversaw, she provided DMCI ballast for a growing organization and insight that helped position the organization for strong leadership in the BIPOC equity space. She will be sorely missed by DMCI and its board and the greater Park Hill Community, and the region's early childhood community. The board of DMCI wishes her family and loved ones our deepest condolences for her passing.
