A Letter From Dan And Briana
Dear DMCI Community, Colleagues, and Partners,
As Board Chair, I am delighted to introduce you to Denver Metro Community Impact’s new Interim Executive Director, Briana Roy. Briana will be leading DMCI into the next stage of its growth and strategic community leadership. Having worked at DMCI for over five years as chief of staff and executive assistant, she is no stranger to the organization: she has been instrumental to building a systems approach that increases DMCI’s impact and partnerships throughout Northeast Denver. In all this, she is passionate about the mission, and clear about how to take us forward in times of transition and growth. Here are a few words from Briana:
I am honored to serve as Interim Executive Director of DMCI, and am deeply committed to upholding the vision of our founder, James Roy II, and his community-centered framework.
Our vital mission continues: to amplify community voices and center impacted residents to drive solutions against displacement, ensure equitable neighborhoods, and build lasting stability. We will strengthen resident-led data, collective action, and shared leadership, making equity the foundation of all decisions.
I look forward to working with DMCI’s dedicated board, partners, and resident leaders to deepen relationships and translate community priorities into meaningful systems-level action.
As DMCI navigates this transition, your continued support is crucial. To expand this vital work and meet growing community needs, we urgently invite your meaningful financial donation today. Join us in deepening DMCI’s impact and cultivating a future where every community can thrive.
Sincerely,
