Purpose:

Colorado Education Organizing (“CEO”) Fund is a funder collaborative that includes the Rose Community Foundation, The Denver Foundation, Gates Family Foundation, and RootED. CEO is committed to reducing the achievement and opportunity gap for low-income public school students of color in the Denver metro area. This collaborative focuses on community organizing that educates, builds leadership among, and engages low-income parents and/or youth in leadership roles, deciding, advocating for, scaling, and sustaining effective education reform solutions. CEO is grounded in the belief that grassroots organizing is a critical yet often overlooked lever for school and district improvement, and that the active, organized involvement of parents and students is essential to crafting, implementing, and sustaining successful district and school reform policies and practices.

CEO can fund public education, nonpartisan electoral work and nonpartisan advocacy work involved in securing policy change.

Proposed Activities:

Park Hill Collective Impact (PHCI) is seeking general operations support to further mobilize our efforts in building solutions with the community and the network of organizations that are committed to cultivating a thriving environment for children and young people, birth-to-career as it relates to education.
